I hear ya there...I work at Morton Metalcraft, key suppliers of sheetmetal/cab frames for Cat & John Deere. I been in powder paint there since '94...we dont know 1 week to the next whats goin on. We just went thru bankrupcy, and a new company bought us out? but no details as yet. They may come in and make us reapply? cut wages? were blind as to what...may shut down. Stay in touch, maybe we'll ride. Where is Buda? near Galesburg/Kewanee? U said 40 miles north so just guessin. Peace, AJ

Thanx Mark...Had @ 40plus thru the years and wish I had em all back, but I'm not a Jay Leno! lol... Is that you 650 streetfighter in ur avatar? Sweet! I had an '80 midnight blue, and a '77 Z1R blue 810kit with a Blake turbo when I lived in Tulsa. Jay Taylor's(MPSI) personal build back in '85. His shop was in Broken Arrow. That bike would rip new one's off the then biggies,900 Ninja's! I got hit by an old lady in Tulsa and never was able to bring it back. Oh well...

XZ1270 yes it my streetfighter. I've owned one since 77. It's got ZX7 forks GPZ mono rear 18 inch wider police wheels 810cc Yosh cams and race pipe with smoothbores. I do paint work so here's a different look.

I noticed u live in Yorba Linda...home of John Force! I'm a Drag racing nut...Speaking of drags, here's a kool shot from early 70's of one of my fav's, Chi-Town Hustler let'n it rip downtown Chicago!

I'm a "nut" too, I go to the Force cruise night's now and then. Spent many nights at Lions, the original Irwindale and OCIR. I loved the Chi-Town's half track burnouts! OCIR had nights with 64 Funnycars, I love the smell of nitro.

Buda is on route 40 about 10 miles past Bradford. Its just a small town of 550. Im gona get some time off at some point in the near future so I have plenty of time to ride.
