what southern end Boots? im froum the south east part of CT. Im in VA now but moving back to ct when the bike is complete in about a month.

I can't help with the bike but I'll back you guys up. Grew up in Montville/Oakdale area just north of New London. My Dad was stationed at the sub base there. Will never move back to those winters (I now live in Southern Calif) but have fond memories. Clymers is OK but try to find a FSM (Factory Service Manual).... much better. Welcome to KZR and ask away...
