I can has StreetFighter?

I just want to start by saying thanks. A weird intro I know but this site has given me a vast amount of information and inspired me to start my own “streetfighter”. So, Thanks…
With that out of the way, I was hoping for some help on my project. Any suggestions and constructive criticism would be appreciated.

I started with just a frame and want to build the bike to road race (doesn't necessarily have to be competitive). I also want to keep the bike all Kawasaki.
I think the right forum would be "Projects" or "Chassis". However, I can't figure out why my pictures won't show up.

cool keep it up....i like the swing arm it is kinda different from others but cool lines....i can see the top tubes braced and some shock mounts starting......good start...ton of these monoshock conversions been done...i'm sure folks will help.....what is the next moves...peace craig

My major concern right now is the rear shock. I want to get it mounted in such a way that even after sag my intended rake stays true. I don't mind putting a damper on it but I don't want it to ride like a grocery cart.So, knowing that I'm not perfect, I'm trying to make the rear upper shock mount capable of being shimmed. That would give me a rear ride hieght adjustment seperate from preload.
After locating the rear mount and getting it reinforced, I'll continue with lightening and gussetts.

who built your swingarm?is it steel or chro-mo?
i built one similar for my z1r out of chro-mo.check this upper shock mount for some adjustment ideas.hth.

it has a stout looking adjustable upper clevis for a upper mount.might have to have one custom machined but would be worth it in the "long run".
