Newb KC

Hello all,

I am a new member to this forum, Great site! Can't post any pics of my rides yet but look forward to all the future discussions! I have a 79 650SR, and an 83 750LTD project in the works. I've posted a question in the engine catagory and would trully appreciate some expert advice as I am just a novice wrench turning grease monkey.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and thank you Patton for the ebay listing and advice. This will be my third restore project and the only one I want to ride. Right now all I can do is daydream about how great it will be when when she starts breathing again. If you could elaborate on your last post on my other thread as far as "light honing" and what to expect from that and a new piston and rings I will be in your debt.

welcome....i had a thread a while back about honing and where to get a good cheap hone tool...try searching with some of those words in forum search window.....you can update your signiture with your bikes and location...it'll show at the bottom each time you post or reply.....welcome...craig
