Guess I've been lurking long enough....Howdy

Howdy, I guess I've been on here too long without an introduction so here it is in segments

Bike - 1976 KZ900A4 - Well, I found this bike in the back of a barn out in Iowa. Covered in dirt, it didn't look like it ran since about the time I was born. It was just in shambles. I offered the owner $250 for it and he bit. Now I knew it was one hell of a bike since I grew up around my dad's KZ650B2 but I had no idea about the history of the Z1/KZ900. Needless to say I was surprised the PO let it go for so little. So she's sitting in my garage getting little thing done to her as I have to pull funds from the car to the bike but it's worth it.

Welcome Shadow, If you have been on a while you already know this is a great site and most of the guys are helpful and knowledgeable. I also have a KZ900A4, it's a bit of a hybrid, there was an engine swap somewhere down the line. I'm rebuilding right now too. Look forward to see the progress on your bike.(these guys love pics!!)

i likey very much nice shade of green you have going on it i have all of you beat i bought my first kz for 400 brought it home pull all the fairings hard bags rear rack and tourpack of the back made one phone call the guy showed up and gave me 350 for it all and one week later i made my first drag race with it for a grand total of 50 dollars my entry fee that day cost more. but as the years have gone by that 50 dollars that i spent on that bike has cost me probably cost me well over 100,000 but hey that is the price of fun and lots of memories right. welcome brother and may you enjoy the ride these are great bikes and very good people. so enjoy.
