Hello Everyone!
29 Mar 2009 12:27
I recently moved from Hawaii to San Francisco. In my quest for a CB750 on craigslist, a 1981 KZ550 caught my eye. It has been stored for 6 months but still ran fine with the exception of a leak when I turn off the engine. It's 100% original and comes with original tools and manual, different from what I'm used.
Much mahalo(thanks) to everyone for putting this amazing site together.
Ride safe.
John G.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. The bike is leaking from the carbs (from not being used probably)often times leaks hours after I turn off the engine. It's a regular KZ550 A2 not a GPZ or LTD. I've been to Laguna Seca 2 times both for the motogp at that time using my XS650 will will let you know for sure. Yes. I hail from Hawaii. I'll post a more detailed description in the carbs section. I was thinking about having the shop do it but got inspired by one of the threads that I read. Might as well learn something new.
