Hi All Noob From Nebraska! was created by Jason1976
Just want to introduce myself. I live in the Omaha area. I picked up an 82 kz750 spectre on Craigslist on 03/21/09 for $950 with 6370 orig miles!!! It runs really good but has some electrical probs that I am getting sorted out. That's how I found you guys. Iwas looking for info on how to fix my turn signals. What a great forum. This is my second bike first one was a suzuki sv650 but I had to get rid of that. I'm super excited about this kz. It's way more comfortable to ride and paid for! I read a couple of posts and understand that I must post a pic so here goes.

Welcome, Jason.

You STOLE that bike, dude!!! Nice score! Enjoy yourself and welcome to the madness. There are several members in the Omaha area so you're in good company.

Welcome Jason! I'm in Omaha myself. You'll have to head up to Flashbacks on Wednesday nights when it gets warm again, great scene up there!! Nice looking bike! There's just something about these old KZs that modern bikes can do for a guy, I went from a 93 (okay, I know not new by any measure) GSXR1100 to my 77 kz650 and have never looked back. Nice find!!

Schweet ride, I am up in Lincoln, but once I get my bike, going will probably ride up in Omaha occasionally. Specially once my wife gets her bike together to. I am new to this forum, but it has been helpful so far. Glad to have you, great to have more classics in nebraska.

First bike was a 1981 Kawasaki KZ750 LTD good bike to learn on, not to fast, not to slow, really stable.

Picked up a 80' KZ750 Twin non-running, last summer, got it running, have had carb problems galore will hopefully have it running in may.

It sounds like I need to head up tp flashbacks and meet you guys sometime! I've got a group of friends all with older Japanese bikes maybe we could all go for a ride sometime? I'm super happy with the bike!

Given that there is the Kawasaki plant in Lincoln, I'd think there ought to be more! :D

I see alot of non-Kawi riders all over the place, between goldwings, harleys, and crotchrockets you dont often see the classics, not to say there is anything wrong with those bikes, At some point I am wanting to custom build myself a nice H-D chopper.
