Hi, I just bought a 1978 KZ650 SR about 2 weeks ago. It's in fairly good shape, just has a few dents in the tank and a busted tach. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can, right now my computers down and I'm posting from work.
Almost forgot to mention my details, my names Brian, I'm almost 33 and I live in West Allis, WI. and this is my first motorcycle. I really like this site, it has been a big help already.

Welcome to the asylum!:silly: My first KZ was a '78 SR. I'm trying to buy it back from the guy now. I was 16 when I got it and had nothing but great luck with it for many years. One thing you'll soon learn here, we need pictures!! We love pictures!! Post some pictures!!:P

I think you've got maybe 45-60 days before that first nice spring day shows up in WI. You'll want to be ready, so use the site to get your Qs answered, and your ride roadworthy. Lots of KZ nuts here.

Actually I did find it on craigslist near Howell and Howard, and I live right next to the Milwaukee Mile on 77th.
I'll post some pics as soon as my home computers working/replaced.
