Hey guys, been reading the forums for a while and figured i would join up. I am 22yrs old and since the day i was born i have had a kz in my life. My dad recentally gave me his 77 kz1000 ltd with 25,000 miles. It has all the basic go fast mods, 4 into 1 kerker, 1075 kit, dana electronic ignition,i cannot remember the cams or the carbs off the top of my head, and some head work. Its a great running bike because of my dad is crazy about maintnace(as am i). This bike is very special to me because it has almost killed my dad 3 times, 2 times he was hit by a car and a few years ago at the track he went down because of a blown front tire near 100mph. Now its my turn to make this bike my very own creation....I will post pics tomorrow when its nice out :P

What part of MD are you from? I've lived in Hagerstown all my life. Welcome to KZR. I cant wait to see some picks.

Sorry no pic's today to much rain at the house to get the bikes out. I live in harford county, just east of baltimore

Hmmm...that's not too far from here...and I think it's not a bad drive from Hagerstown too. Maybe us MD folk could get together for a KZ ride sometime this spring/summer.

Thats a good idea. I was actually thinking of starting a thread to see if anyone close wanted to get together.I still got some bugs to work out on my bike and I lose my license for a month starting next week, but after that I'm up to ride down and meet up.
