Howdy,

My name is Neil and I live in Sullivan, IN. I have a '07 ZX6R and a few months ago purchased a basket case pile of parts zn700 for $100. It has a clean title and the motor looked to be in decent shape so I bought it. I needed something a little more tame for daily riding and it needed to be cheap. I am a mechanical engineer and have spent nearly all my life wrenching on cars so I wasn't afraid of a challenge. I wanted a KZ but came across the ZN and figured I couldn't get alot more "budget".

I will post up a project thread after a bit to do some chronicling of my work. hope to gain some good info from you guys - thanks

You mean a little more comfy? Like so you won't look like one of Jerry's kids when you get off your bike to pump gas? Or getting in to work. You want not to abuse your future children any more than you have to kind of tame? You don't enjoy sounding like Michael Jackson any more than your colleagues do?
Well, put some pics of your basket up. For sure you came to the right place.:P Welcome.

I almost bought I think a 85 nz900 eliminator or something, but the kz1000 was 100 miles closer. I'm pleased with my choice. welcome to KZR and good luck with your basket case.
