So glad to find this site, thanks to everyone who has been so helpful! Especially with my current carb problem. It's nice to know it isn't the ONLY bike in the Universe with a specific problem, even better to read how to fix it! It's interesting to see so many renditions of what I've always thought of as "my" bike :) in the photos too.

I've been riding 35 years, I grew up in Alabama, back then you got your motorcycle license at 14 ... I kid you not. I've owned many bikes, had my KZ since 1986, I'm the third owner.

My first bike was bought in boxes, delivered by pickup truck, actually two engines in pieces and a frame; I bought these for $100 when I was 13. A friend helped me make one good bike, a (Honda) CB100 with an SL125 engine ... mostly. The day I turned 14 I had my "freedom machine". Ever since, I've been working on them, some for fun, most as a necessity, loved (most) every minute of it, :) definitely love to ride.

Here's where I've been:
1971 Honda CB100
1970 Suzuki TS90
1974 Yamaha DT125
1972 Honda CB350 Chopped
1973 Yamaha DT175
1975 Suzuki GT250

Here's where I am:
1980 KZ750LTDH1, Kerker 4 into 1 (necessity)
Single fuses versus fuse box (necessity)

See you on the boards!

Early bikes:
1971 Honda CB100
1970 Suzuki TS90

1972 Honda CB350 Chopped
1973 Yamaha DT175
1975 Suzuki GT250

Welcome aboard all of you!
