Hello From Maryland!

This is my birthday present. I just got it back from the shop about a week ago. Had to get the carbs, forks, and tires worked on. runs damn good now. I love this site. I actually got my kz last summer. the guy I bought it from said it ran good but needed a battery and some little stuff, the battery cost me 45.00. The "little stuff" cost me another 1600.00. so here are two pics I took the other day when I got it home.
I haven't had a chance to really ride it yet but its gotta be faster then the 81 honda cx500 deluxe I started on. I got a mess of parts waiting to be put on,an a model seat{flat one}, superbike bars, h4 headlight, a little fairing{ not quite sure on that}, new grips, a smaller taillight/tag holder, a CLEAR POINTS COVER, and a few other odds and ends. I had dyna coils and electronic ignition but I paid the shop to put them on while they had it. also I got a oil press. guage on the way.
I'd really like to thank everyone here for all the info. and ideas I've gotten from this forum. I look forward to posting more pics once I get on my parts on and get her all cleaned up. Her name is Black Betty and mine is Dwayne
