Returning 440 owner from Canada

Hi all, I like the new format of the site, I haven't been here in years. I recently moved my bike (82 440) from storage, and decided that it is time to start thinking about a little restoration. I haven't decided exactly what to do with it yet, I might do a little mild customization, I dunno. anyway, It's good to be back and i'm sure the site and its members will be as helpful as they were in the past. I'll try and get some pictures of the bike up soon. Cheers.

welcome back...some guy had a pic of a kz 440..or 400 that he made into a retro cafe clubman thingy all green and blacked out and not expensive hand work.... and it was soooooooo cool i wanna build one outta one of the smaller kz...305 or 44o.....maybe someone has a link it was a month or two ago....peace

Welcome back! Now's a great time to start getting ready for summer. Loved my 400 and was sad to have to sell it but I needed the funds to fix up the 750, and ended up using some of it to buy the 900.

Obviously it's your call, however, I'm kind of partial to keeping this old bikes stock, but that's just me. Although I'm not above doing WG's coil mod and maybe installing a fuse block.

Have fun with your project. You might want to put you location in your signature block. There's quite a few kzriders there up north that would probably be willing to lend a hand as long as the other one was holding a beer.
