that thing looks like it still has the origanal rear tire on it cool but i would change it thou it is worn out. welcome to our insanity enjoy the ride.

yeah, that's the top list of things to do!!
then I found front and rear shocks air pressure is completed nothing!! not sure just to pump it up to spec air pressure or anything else!? plus the carbs need to go thru clean up ..etc from sitting for some time.

The shocks are fairly low pressure systems so don't use a high-pressure pump to fill them (e.g. air pumps at gas stations...they can quickly overwhelm the low-pressure shocks)...use a hand-pump (e.g. a bicycle pump) for the front and rear air shocks.

thanks for the tip Mcdroid!! I was going to pume it with gas station one!! and what's the pressure setting is front for 25 psi and rear for 11 psi? are they also hydralic fulid in the shocks? Thanks Again!!

The front forks probably have a light weight oil for rebound dampening. The rear shocks are not rebuildable(I think) and will need replacing. www.progressivesuspension.com makes some good replacements or go to dennis kirk,and jp cycles for others.

Here is mine 82 Spectre I was calling it big ugly but a friend of mine was giving me a hard time because he loves the movie "The Road Warrior"
So now now I call it big nasty.
Either way its a fun bike and the best part is the look on people faces when they try to figar what it is.

78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.
