Hi everyone
22 Feb 2006 11:28
Newbie here. I am a UK native living in California and have taken on a 1981 kz750E1 as my first project. I also own a rather non-standard 1984 GPz750A2. I do not have photos yet but will post them. Both bike are cosmetically quite crap but I have a penchant for the rock solid aircooled fours of KHI. I have a problem that I do not know where to post so I will put it in carbs for now. Thanks and thank you for a decent forum (at last)

Welcome to the old kawasaki obsessed club. There are a number of us here in California. The members in southern Cal have gathered from time to time, but those here in the north have not yet done so. Where in Cal are you?
I also have a KZ750E. It is a very nice bike, that I have been using as my daily rider into San Francisco for six months or so. When you get yours running right you will have fun with it.
Put your location and your bikes into your "signature", that way we can all know the background information when you post comments and questions.

Petaluma and Truckee, CA -- member since Jan. 23, 2003;
PREVIOUS KZs: 1980 KZ750H with 108,000 miles; 1980 KZ750E with 28,000 miles; and KZ750H street/cafe project, all sold a few years back.
This is what I do for fun, not for work. It is art, with a little engineering thrown in.

Thanks all for the welcome. Apeman, I am in Pleasant Hill (which is not pleasant and has no hill). I am working on the p[hotos but resizing is tricky.
Thanks again

Pics available in the 750 fours gallery. Two shots of the 1981 kz750 E1 in process and me and maGPz...
