I'm back with KZR

I think I am going to be back on the KZR site---
FOr those that don't know me I am smclem-- (osr / old-school-racing) I was on KZR long ago and kind of left when all the drame went down long ago-- I have been lurking and posting just a few times but I think I will stick around -- post have been getting better and all the members seem a little easier to talk with.

Anyway-- i have had lots of old kz's and z1's and always seem to have something in the stable and lots of parts to boot.
Other than a few frames laying around this is the only KZ i have left.

Sold the old KZ dragbike to build this turd.

hey buddy im building some thing simalar right now it looks sweet how big and et. mph. and one other question what kind of shocks are those and what are you using for a clutch so you can launch it.also what is your wheelbase.

THe bike is a 1500 with cut down pistons so compression is lower-- button starts -- best pass on spray 8.90 @ 155 68-70 wheelbase-- shocks-- believe it or not are $29 ebay goldwing cheap shocks-- nothing special-- 2 stage lockup-- 1.35 60ft best -- no bars and a shinko--

oh yeah -- that is my cuz on the bike-- that 8.90 is with me on it -- and i'm sittin on the couch at 243 in street clothes-- so its got a lot in it-- that anchor on the seat hurts the performance quite a bit.

My cuz only rode it on motor-- went 9.49 lifting trying to run streetfighter-- and has been 5.90's in the 1/8 --he is 165 but has yet to put the spray to it--

i only ran 1 weekend on motor-- my best on motor-was a 9.51 and 6.12 in the 1/8th

pretty impressive and it looks like the kind of bike that could make fancy paint colors in your pants if your not careful 1.35 6o those are big numbers without a bar impressive. by the way the bike looks awesome with 243 on it you would have to worry about traction much would you.

No traction isn't much of an issue with my big a$$ on it. Keeping the front end down sometimes is tough though.
