New from AZ
04 Nov 2008 23:20
Just wanted give a shout out to all of you KZ'rs out there. I am now the proud owner of an 01 kz1000p20. I have owned honda's, harley's and even a meanstreak...but the kz1000 police bike has been the one bike I have always wanted. And now that I have one I cant wait to let her loose on the streets. Now the only question is a complete restoration? Or do I go crazy with her? i just might need a straight jacket!! I look forward to future posts.

Welcome Az homeboy...
Well you started off correctly by supplying a picture of your up coming/existing project. We're pictures whore on this site and this is the rule.
Also, update your profile with bike info and city/state location. This comes in handy when asking questions so others will know what year and model of bike your speaking of. Trust me, happens all the time where a member trying to help has to reply asking what bike?
I live in Glendale, where you at?

Welcome to the site. Thanks for the pic and glad to see you're putting used iron to some good use. Tucson here and some of the KZPs are being replaced by (gasp) Harley's here!
First thing, I recommend you get a white half helmet, high boots, and mirrored shades. I bet your commute will go a lot faster!

That looks just like the cop bike that pulled me over and gave me a ticket for going 42 in a 25 the other day up at 20th street and Greenway in N. Phoenix.
Off to traffic school I go. 1 ticket every 10 years or so isn't too bad I guess.
