the swingarm is from a 2004 gsxr 1000. Yes it is a blast to ride! Also, to timebomb i wear a dale earnhardt jr. jacket so it doesnt matter if it gets rubber all over it:lol: In my opinion, do what you want. I really like the bike i built and didnt sacrifice handling, and i would suggest going this route to anyone.

Ya your bike is sick for sure! I am really liking what seeing here. I love these bikes and whether they are stock original streetfighters, cafe racers or chopped what evers they are still cool!

I would never chop anything like a ESR or an early z1. I know enough to know that much! I am lookin for a late 70s early 80s. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to find a rare bike for what I am willing to pay anyways

I was raised up back in the 70's riding on the gas tank of my fathers chopped cb750 . I actually ruined one of his tank paint jobs from my diaper melting to it . Ride whatever makes you smile . That's what makes the difference between two wheels and four . I'm choppin a '81 kz550 now . Its a great obsession to discover what parts you really don't need . I remember the old dental mirrors the guys would use to make the chops legal . Also the fake battery cases with a kicker for your delivery services . I haven't been able to find any that are made as motorcycle mirrors so I will just have to buy the regular one and fab it up to work . You gotta remember why bikers get bugs in their teeth ; cause the shit eating grins .

Well, I have to agree with what the majority say. It's your bike and you should ride what makes you happy.

As fo me, personally, when I see a nice old Kz1000 turned into a chopper, I think to myself,'Dang... they ruined a good bike'.
