hey people, im kevin. i just bought my very first bike about a month or so ago and it just so happens to be a 1979 KZ1000ST. it has a matte black paint job all over and the only things not factory are the drag bars and air pods. the car was cosmetically flawless when i bought it, but i managed to fix that in the first week or two. i hit a patch of sand pulling out of a parking lot and lost the left rear turn signal, scraped up the crank case pretty good, dented the headlight and speedometer housings and very slightly bent the front left turn signal. the only things mechanically wrong are the valves need a shim job, carb synch, and the odometer doesnt work (but the trip does). this is one of the cleanest rat bikes ive seen and i hope to keep it for a long time. the only thing ill change is its quarter mile time.

Welcome, Kevin.

I hope you've gotten over your case of the dropsies. :D
