Hello to all you KZers out there. I'm riding a KZ 650 E1 LTD. It's been about 30 plus years since my last Kawasaki. I had a H1 with a H2 750 engine I installed in it. It was a real screamer. The 650 is fast enough for this 71 year old guy. I'll probably have a few questions down the road, but while the weather's warm, I'm riding. I replaced the side cover with the matching one I got out of Oregon, it cost me 45 bucks with postage. I replaced the bent and broken clutch and brake levers from an e-bay auction I won. I need to relocate the turn signals up to the headlight like some of the other models had. Mine has the clamp on type of stems on them, and I'll be needing the straight stems for the relocation. The owner who put the windshield on, mounted the signals off the upper fork tubes with a couple of bent pieces of metal. Other than a little clean up it's running pretty good for an old bike. I get 55 miles per gallon and am satisfied with that. Glad to be in the group and look forward to talking to a few of you. Here's a picture before I brought her home. Bob U
