1981 Kz1000 C3 Police Bike

Hello to all just joined with my 1980 KZ 1000 c3 police bike that I bought last month.

Welcome dblhdr! I've been thinking more and more about a Police KZ...looks like you found a nice one.

Yeah I got real lucky with this one I got it from a collector and it is totally stock with only 11,400 miles on it when I picked it up. They guy who I bought it from got three police bikes, along with nine other bikes from a guy that supposedly has over 100 bikes in his collection. he kept it maintained and upgraded the DOT3 fluids to DOT5 but didn't put any miles on it. STL. P.D. supposedly only used it for parades and escort duty is why it has so few miles. I took the red lights off the front and removed the police flasher unit from the left saddle bag but I kept the siren. I love it, and it's a real head turner.

I've know dblhdr for years and years. Helluva guy!
But I really hate it when he sneaks up behind me and turns his siren on. :S (Nice to see you on here dblhdr!)
