New from W. NC
18 Aug 2008 16:38
Hey all,
I'm trying to get this 82 KZ1100 shaft drive back on the road. Belonged to late father-in-law. We found it in his garage apart wondering what had been done.![ ](/media/kunena/emoticons/22.png)
Got it running now but have a valve cover leak to tackle and some lighting issues but overall a nice bike for free. Full Vetter fairing and side & tail bags. with 40K miles
That's all for now
Bryan

I replaced the leaking valve cover gasket Sunday and checked the valves. Thought I had one ticking but it was just the headers. About a 2-3 hour process.
I have a total of $700 in it now
I will have to change out the windshield at some point. There are a few light spider cracks in it.
