Two wheels to go please!
09 Aug 2008 21:17
Hi y'all! I'm glad to be part of your group. I heard about you from another group and figured they would not steer me wrong. I have been a bike lover for most of my life. I was always a rider not a driver. A month ago that changed when I bought a '81 KZ550 D-1 GPZ and a '81 KZ550 C-2 LTD for $800. A little work and some parts swapping I got the D-1 running good enough to become my daily driver to work. I left you a picture of her.
I look forward to hearing from y'all.

Good on ya but one word of advice. Get a front brake
on that bike or get some good insurance. Safety should
be your number one concern. Unless you really like
pain and suffering.

Welcome to the KZR Nation. Nice to have a new daily rider. ![:cheer: :cheer:](/media/kunena/emoticons/10.png)
Neat bike but I'm with Locozuna. When I scrolled the picture over to the no-front-break my $ss puckered up real tight... ouch. :pinch:
If you have a working front break in either bike please install... in the mean time I'll pray for ya.
Best of success.![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
Can you add your year, model and location to your signature... just in case we need to send flowers.

Welcome to Kzr. Lots of good info and knowledgeable people here. Good luck with the bike and as the others said, you really need to get that front brake.

It is nice to know that someone besides my wife cares for my safety.
