Hello. I am just joining on here. My bike is an '81 KZ440 LTD. I bought it dirt cheap a while back but started having carb problems. I tried reading up on the process myself, but was scared I'd mess it up, so I let the local mechanic mess it up for me. Months later.... I just finished purchasing another set of carbs from a Texas craigslist ad. Dropped the carbs off at the mechanic and probably in a month will know if the bike is going to run or not.

I am looking forward to getting some advice and help from the other members here. By the way, here's a pic of my bike from before I took it to the mechanic.

Welcome to KZRider. Nice looking 440.

I haven't used him myself, but www.wgcarbs.com is a member of this site and is highly recommended for carb rebuilds.
