its not running, he said the motor runs but the ignition is bad. He is moving so he just wants to get it off his hands. It needs brakes and tires and some wiring done he was saying but i figured i can't beat 250$ and the learning experience. Thanks for the welcoming btw :woohoo:
PS i'll have pics for yahs friday night when i pick it up

Im in the process of building my 750 twin into a cafe/street racer. Personally i think they look really great as a cafe racer but Im a little biased. Is yours the 4 or twin?

If the PO reported ignition problems then seriously consider the WG Coil Repowering Mod and avoid a lot of troubleshooting... don't ask.

See WG's CRPM here:

See how I did mine here:

Best of success. :)

PS
Cahill06 and others, add your year, model and location to your signature for the best responses... and its considered very friendly.

It needs brakes and tires and some wiring done

What kind of wiring? If you're thinking of doing the coil mod and have other wiring that needs to be done, maybe it would be advantageous to (carefully) redo the entire harness. It's very straightforward if you take your time and can solve a lot of miscellaneous "oddities".
