1980 KZ750-4 LTD
19 Jul 2008 09:41
Howdy all,
I recently purchased a 1980 KZ750-4 LTD as my step-up from a Rebel. She has some chain noise at idle that I'll be looking to clear up now that my eBay service manual has arrived. Currently, I'm looking for an owner's manual (darn people who can't put things back where they found them) but I'm holding out for a cheaper find than the $39.95 example on eBay now.
Anyhoo, thought I'd say hello.

Hey Dave, Welcome to KZR!! There's plenty of KZ750 info here. Good luck with your bike.

Hey hammmy
Welcome to the site. Always glad to have another kz'r around, especially a 750-4. Looks like we'll be trying to bid on the same thing.....I've been trying to get an owners manual for my 1982 kz750 Ltd for almost a year now.
The only thing I think is harder it to try and find the tool kit for it. I actually got found a stock tool tray but the ones that come up for bid are big bucks.

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
Link14, I'm missing the tool tray (and kit) too. Took awhile to realize where the toolkit was supposed to be. Oddly enough, despite not having the owner's manual, the little compartment where it sits is in perfect shape with its mounting tabs intact. There's just no understanding previous owners, I guess.
I'll probably be on the hunt for a tray now, and buy/assemble a kit of my own unless I beat you to an amazing deal
