Hello out there!

For many years now i have wanted to get on a bike, and this year i made it happen. I had only been on a bike a few times before (a buddy letting me ride around in a parking lot) so i took the MSF course and started looking to buy. I was not able to finance a new bike and happened to come across a 1980 KZ750 twin that was in my price range (CHEAP!!) I wasn't looking for any bike in particular to be honest, but i love this bike already. I've had it registered and insured barely a week and in a few days of riding i have already put near 500 miles on it. i just cant seem to make myself drive it home!
anyway, it isnt very pretty, with some rust and a spraycan paintjob. but, i plan to make it a work in progress so to speak, maybe this winter will bring about some major overhauls.

Hey welcome aboard. You may want to try some shocks on that twin, it might make it even more fun to ride. B)

hey makarth,i see you are in murfreesboro. i am just down 840 in thompsons station and have developed a passion for the natchez parkway. such a beautiful ride and i feel like it is a little safer for us bikers since we seem to outnumber the caged riders there! my work schedual is kind of crazy, and my bike is now in need of some mechanical attention (hopefully just a battery or maybe the alternator) but i would love to meet up with some folks for a ride sometime in the future.
