New Member - As green as it gets

Hello, my name is Adam and I live in Flint, Michigan.

I'm the new owner of a 1980 Kawasaki 750 LTD. My motorcycle riding experience is as vast as my motorcycle owning experience - about 2 days.

If there's other KZ owners in the area that would like to link up sometime, let me know.

Currently I'm dealing with getting my carbs straightened out. At last one of them doesn't seem to be functioning properly. It may just be a sync problem (or so I'm told). Any help with service parts or shops in the area would be great.

I'm a little closer to you. I'm in either the Detroit or Kalamazoo area depending on the weekend. Let me know if you want to ride or want an extra hand working on the bike. I'm not much help, but usually good for a laugh.
I know it would not be any fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

Welcome. Your bike looks to be in good shape!
You Michigan boys should meet up at Win Shulers for lunch. Marshall's about in the middle. I wonder if their prime rib sandwiches are as good as I remember?

Hey Bee Sting, welcome to the site. Glad to have another 750er around! Your bike looks pretty good (my seats worse ;)). I've had the best luck with parts at Z1 Enterprises on the net, particularly with carb parts.

Have fun! Ride safe!

Nice looking bike. Reminds me of my old 650.

check the carb in question you may have a torn diaphram. don't think you can sync the stock carbs on that bike.
