I just use the "select image file to attach" thing at the bottom. I'm not that great at conputers.

I know it would not be any fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

One try would be to order a manual for your year bike. They are a must own item for these old bikes, and will help you nail down which one you own specifically.

That and a pic here at the site...

Welcome to the site!
If your bike is a KZ1000, then it must be a '77 or newer. But you'll need the VIN or Engine No. (or both, maybe) to help you tie it down. Do your side panels have a KZ1000 emblem on them?
To post a pic, take a picture of your bike, and save it to your hard drive. When you post a message on the Forum, go to "Select Image file to attach", below the message you just typed. Click on the Browse button, and find your picture. Select it, and then click on the "Submit" button. The picture size is limited to about 500 x 450 pixels. If your picture is bigger than that, then you have to re-size it (before you try to attach it) with a photo editor.
Good luck!
