New kz750 rider trying to make a cafe racer

I am a new KZ750 owner. Not my first choice of bike but so far I am glad I didn't go with anything else. I am really falling in love with this bike. I am trying to turn my 1979 KZ750B4 into a cafe racer. I was just wondering if you guys would know the best place to get parts for it. I am missing front brakes. Anyhow in advance I am going to thank everyone for there help cause I know I will be asking alot of question. So thank you.

Welcome Scooterr. I'm just nearing the completion of my cafe (650) and for some of the parts that I needed for my build I got them from www.z1enterprises.com/ . Great guys and very knowledgeable about vintage bikes.

Best of luck on your cafe build.

I second those notions.

There are parts a-plenty on ebay! Search with this, and make sure to include the parentheses:
(kz750,kz 750)

B)
(1.) '75/'76 KZ400D - Commuter
(2.) '78 KZ750B3 Twin - Commuter
(3.) '78 KZ750B3 Twin - Commuter
(4.) '75 KZ400D - Sold

Welcome to the board! Z1 as everyone said is great.

I use bike bone yard in Columbus OH for the hard to find parts. It's called Rice Paddy. You should be able to do a search for them online.

Good luck!
