hey i'm new
18 May 2008 13:19
i'm new to the site and to these motorcycles. i don't have one yet but i'm pretty sure that i want to get one b/c gas prices suck and my car is a gas guzzler and it's just a v6. (GTP 3800 s/c) and i have been wanting i bike for a long time. i'm a 22 year old Aero-space engineering student at OSU. and i hope to pick up a good cheap KZ1000 and start to build it and mod it to my liking so i will be asking questions and poking your minds for info and help.
Thanks Rob Johnson

i do appreciate the advice and i know why you say that. my buddy has a early 80's Honda 450 that we have both been learning on he gets his license this week. and i'm going to put a good amount of miles on before i go buy anything crazy.

Welcome and happy ricding!!! I was going to also suggest a smaller bike to start on, but it looks like you've got the right idea!! I can't wait to hear more from you and to see what bike you end up with!!!
