New here, what do you think??
08 May 2008 17:09
I have had many KZs the last was about 10 years ago and I'm looking to buy another, I found a 76 900cc with a 1000P motor in it and it also comes with a 1075cc that needs assembled, it has an extended full chromoly swing arm as well as a calfab swing arm, and a gsxr front end and several stock front ends, new sidewinderpipe, corbin gunfighter, zx11 rearsets,a zx11 rear wheel with a 180mm tire and a 3.5 alumium spoke wheel with a 150 tire and drum brake, tons of parts to finish it as well as some to sell, they want $1700 for all of it, what do you all think???
I will be building it as a pro street style so alot of the work is done, 10 years ago I paid 900 for my last 76 KZ900 and I rode it home, so I'm a little out of the game.

sounds like a deal to me....the 1075 motor parted out will bring $500 pretty easy..swingarm and misc other parts gotta be easily another $200 or more. thats around a $1000 for the bike....$1.00 a CC...sounds fair.

Welcome.
What do I think? I think you'd have an interesting project.

I decided to buy a running bike, and also buy a bunch of parts from the girl who was selling the original bike I was interested in, here are the pics:
