Northern California Coast Rider
04 May 2008 16:55
Hi all. Just moved up to the north coast of California, great place to ride. My 76 KZ900 runs great, and I'm looking for riding partners for day trips, etc.

Welcome! I am in Berkeley. Where along the North Coast are you? While most of us consider the SF Bay Area to be in Northern California, in truth nearly half the state is north of us.
Petaluma and Truckee, CA -- member since Jan. 23, 2003;
PREVIOUS KZs: 1980 KZ750H with 108,000 miles; 1980 KZ750E with 28,000 miles; and KZ750H street/cafe project, all sold a few years back.
This is what I do for fun, not for work. It is art, with a little engineering thrown in.

Hi Apeman. I'm in Mendocino, about 150 miles from the bay area up 101 to 128 and through the Anderson Valley to Mendocino. 101 isn't much fun, but 128 through the valley (full of wineries) and the Navarro Redwoods is beautiful.

Hi Mendocino,
When I get my 76 rebuilt, I'll look you up. We rent houses, with 6-12 friends, in Sea Ranch, every August, (but it will be in cages, not the KZ...wow, Sacramento to Gulala on a bike, that would be fun)
Doug
