New. New, New
02 May 2008 13:28
Hi all, I'm new:
1. Here,
2. To motorcycle riding,
3. KZ owner.
Have always wanted to ride, so when my neighbor put his kz650 (not sure if it's a '79 B3, or an '80 F1) out at the side of the road with a For Sale sign on it, I jumped at the opportunity. She needs some (a bit) of cosmetic work, but purs like a kitten.
Wish me luck.

Welcome. Nice find.
Post up a picture and/or check the VIN number and we'll see what model you got.

Welcome, Dkellogg3.
Since you're new to motorcycles, do sign up for the MSF course. We want to see you riding and enjoying your 650 for a long time.
Easy way to tell you model is to look at the VIN, the B will start with KZ650B and an F will will start with KZ650F.
Oh, yeah, pics?

Welcome welcome AND
Careful careful!!
I've laid it down already and attribute all the dirt riding to my escaping completely unhurt.
Please take some safety courses as these things are dangerous even for us who think we know what we are doing!! :woohoo:
