I would like to introduce myself on this forum. First let me say that I think you all are great and the information on this site is fantastic.
:cheer: This is a pic of the 1983 GPZ550 that I did a complete frame up rebuild. It had been stored, not so nicely, for 15 years. Enjoy!:cheer:

I'm up here in da town of Minneapolis Minnesoda. Can't you tell by my outrageous accent? Actually, I live west of Minneapolis in town called Mound on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. Born and raised in the cities, hate winters, can't understand why I still live here. Maybe someday I'll move to a warmer climate. Been riding bikes since I was 10, (off-road till I got my license). I've built a few cars and bikes in the past. I decided that bikes are much easier and cheeper to build,(I'm getting too old to lift a trans). Have some projects in the works, a 1962 Honda 50 Cub and a 1981 BMW R100RT are at the top of the list. For the last 18 years I've been working as a Aircraft Mechanic and Pilot at a local FBO. Fun job and I get to use the shop when I want.

Welcome Stardon.

Very nice GPz550. That was one of the models I lusted after 25 years ago. :D Good to see you're giving it a good home.
