Looking for relief in gas prices!

That is my driving force right now.
I bought this bike for 125.00
It hasn't ran for at least 10 years so I am told. who really knows. Anyway I love to take a POC and bring it back to life. That is where I am with this. Trying to keep it cheap yet nice. I am a bit OCD on projects (I admit it!)
Always doing research and looking for a great price on good parts. I am never one to whip out the Credit card and just buy new. I have a beautiful,supportive wife, and kids, so they take alot of money and the bike gets put to the back burner priority list! Sucks sometimes but thats the way it works! I need a front master cylinder, side covers, front tire,and there is more but that is it for now. Thanks for your help in advance! Jeff

Welcome Jeff...we are all a bunch of penny-pinchers here (some more than others:laugh: ) My list of 'wants' is much longer than my list of 'haves' so we are all pretty much in the same situation.

GAS RELIEF.....you should try living in the UK.
Diesel for my van just topped US$2.75 a litre.
How much is it there out of curiosity?

Saving gas was the excuse I used on myself five years ago. I now know it's an incurable disorder!

Fourtoes, I'm sure it's somewhere in the range of $4.40 to $4.50 per gallon for road diesel. As I figure it, your price is $10.41 per US gallon. Ouch!
