Hi all
I am coming in this site today for first time, searching information about KZ1000 Ltd from 1977.
It's my first large bike, bought used 10 years ago.
I appreciate this site and I am very surprising that many people like these kawa motorbikes.
I have a new bike since 4 years (a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500) but I preserve my KZ1000 because I love it.
Ha, I specify, sorry for my bad english ; I am french from Saint-Pierre and Miquelon.
Regards
Debru

Thanks for your call
To Wireman : I am searching information about red color to repaint my KZ. The original color was dark blue. I had repaint it with other blue after little crash in 1999. Now I would to repaint it with red classic Kawasaki (may be same color that my Vulcan Classic Red 2000). I think that KZ 1000 Ltd from 1977 had this original color with red decalcs. Have you some pictures available on the site or outside ?
to Tganek : Thanks. I don't have recent picture of my KZ at this time. I will take it later and I will send it to the Gallery ; before or after repaint it ? I don't know yet... Find below picture of same bike, but not same color (from other site).
to Mcdroid : don't come everybody in same time ! My ireland is too small to receive all Krider members !!! But you are welcome nevertheless.
In fine, I am coming to discover all the site. I will check all topics. I suppose that I will find many informations for my bike and his restoration.
Thanks for your support
Regards

Welcome Debru975, dont worry about when you take the pictures we love to see before and after photographs.
What is the top speed you get to go? I should think the Island is not long enough to get a lot of speed.
Enjoy this site, I think most people come across it by accident and watch for a while and then they decide to get involved. I have not come accross another site that is so active and friendly.
While you are on you should "put your dot on the map" check it out in the Chit Chat forum.

Welcome, and yeah, give us some pictures of your bikes.
When I search for Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, I get taken to Quebec. Is this where your from?
