Hello from Michigan!

In August last year I became the proud owner of a 1978 KZ650! The bike is basically stock, and had been in storage for over 10 years having been taken back to stock just prior to that. I have installed a rear carrier, but that is all. All the chrome is in great shape but it requires a little attention to paint on the tank.

I had to rebuild the carbs to get it running, but it now runs just fine and I am very happy with my new "classic"!

Me? - Born and raised in England (Nottingham) and came to the USA in 1978 after two years in southern Africa. Married to Mary who also loves to ride as a passenger. I have owned bikes since I was 16 years old starting with a Vespa Sportique, then a Triumph 500 "Speed Twin". When I came to the states I bought a 1979 Yamaha 650 Special, followed by a 750 Virago - which I sold two years ago.

Also a keen MG car owner - We have two - a 1971 BGT and a 1974 B Roadster. (Hmmm... there seems to be a '70's focus to my transportation!)

We live in South Lyon, Michigan (about 20 miles north of Ann Arbor). If you are in the area, or live nearby, lets get together for a beer!
