I bought a '82 750 CSR M1 (Twin) in 2006 while I was assigned to Ft. Bliss Texas. I started doing some research and I've received some questionble info.
1. I've been informed that the production run on this model was only 1000.
2. Only 300 of these bikes came to the US.
3. www.bikez.biz lists a private average price at over $9500.
Is this true?
I confirmed with Kawasaki that the serial number corresponds to the CSR M1 model number but, they didn't give me any info on the production run. A local dealer looked up the bike on the NAPA website and told me the bike is only worth about $900.
Does anybody know anything about this model?

I just bought an 82 KZ 750 CSR Twin for $700.00. The bike needs some TLC and had just under 13K on the odo. Top end this bike will probably fetch about $1400. These older cruiser bikes are starting to get better prices due to the demand for older bikes but, I wouldn't hold my breath on getting anywhere near 10k.

Close to 10,000 were sold, although it took at least three years to sell them all. I had a 82 KZ750M1 that was originally purchased new in 1985.

If the price of bread reaches $95 per loaf, then a 82 KZ750M1 might reach $9500, due to inflation.

I sold one almost two years ago for $1200, but it was immaculate, with new tires/chain/sprockets, and it took two months to sell.

The 750 twins are less popular than the 550/650/750/900/1000/1100 models, and probably less popular than the 400/440 models.

And I own three 750 twins, so I obviously like them :)

Dang, I almost had a heart attack w/a price of $9500:woohoo: . I'm even impressed w/a range of $900-1200. I wonder why that site overvalues it by so much?
BTW, Burnie, welcome and where are the pics:cheer:
