Hello All,
B) Just pulled my 79 KZ1300 out of the barn. It's been hiding in there since 1990.:silly: Hadn't thought much about it for 18 years. family, work.....etc. (Time Flies:blush: ) For the past month or two I can think of nothing else. :woohoo: So here we are. I guess every forum has an Iceman so being real original I'm Iceman Too from Northern Nova Scotia, Canada. Hello All:laugh: :cheer: ;) BTW great builds in the Project section.

Welcome to the site. We would love to see a picture of your 1300. I don't envy you having to clean out those carbs...

The carbs may be fine. They were rebuilt and never run. Put them back on and never started it. Fingers crossed. Engine had 12 quarts of oil in it, Filled the bottom end to the top and leaned it over and filled it more. Took the plugs out and filled them too. Going to get it running first, then start with the upgrades. Did the Cam tensioner mod new filters etc. There was no gas in it and the tank , fuel system seem good. No rust in the tank whatsoever, no sludge or any debris in the bowl drains. Every thing we looked at looks brand new. Valve clearances all good, cam lobes look like new. Better not jinx myself.:S Find out soon.
Regards B)
