well name is joe. got a wife and 3 kids and i work in a button factory. kidding of coarse. well name is joe. i do have a wife and 3 kids but i work at a distribution center.

well, my grandfather bought a 75 kz400s1to use as a farm bike in florida. run into town for things and crank around the farm. i used to ride it when i was about 10. i loved that bike. well i wound up moving to CT, and only saw the bike when i went to visit every so often. long story short, he passed recently and i drove all the way the florida just for this bike. its in rough shape but it WILL be back on the road as a second generation rider of this bike.

the bike needs some tlc but i am gonna do my best. front drum is locked up, ignition tumbler is froze up, tires are shot, some lite rust here and there, yes there is gas from the late 80's in the tank lol, paint is completly faded, all the cables are toast and the carbs.... yup stuck lol. but on the lighter side. the motor isnt locked up, mice didnt eat the wiring, and im only missing the left side panel lol.

what do you think 10 bucks and some chewing gum and this puppy is good as new lol hahaha.

Welcome. Sorry to hear about your Grandfather. :(

Nice to have his bike.
Give us some pictures as you go, as we like to see others busy. Makes us feel busy too. :)
