Hello Everyone
06 Mar 2008 14:08
Hello!
I just bought a 1978 KZ400 that had been sitting with gas in it for a year!! I plan on turning it into my daily commuter. I have about a 6 mile drive to work with very limited parking for cars, but more for bikes.
The bike needs work before it will be road ready. I am hoping for two months, though most people could probably do it in less. I am not going for an original rebuild just a reliable bike. I will try and keep my website updated with the details of whatever damage I do and then have to fix.
Thanks,
Stephen

I am in Austin, TX and I guess I will be "riding" not "driving." I just sent my carbs off to wiredgeorge as they had a lot of gunk in them.
Thanks for the welcome and I am sure I will be asking a lot of questions.
