New here. Looking to buy a 78 kz650 this weekend.Trying to find some info.from what ive found so far i think its an SR model. Has mags and painted front fender which im told is original paint. Has 21k. Any thing notorius I should look out for besides clutch slip and obvious leaks? Heres the poor pics I have to work with. Thanks

The 650 have no flaws to look for.
Do check for usual wear & tear, as well as make sure everything works (or adjust your offer accordingly).
Check :
tires
compression
oil level and clenlyness
brakes
any damage, road rash
etc.

Had a few emails from seller and then no replies, The add also changed slightly by 7k miles . Its on craiglist savannah ga or south carolina hilton head. The bike is in Beaufort SC. I saw it in traffic last year and it looked great. Hope some one here picks it up.

That 650 is an SR model, one like what I have, or will soon not have anymore. During the times I have gotten to ride mine, it was one heck of a smooth bike and I will miss it dearly. Someone is already coming to see it so if anyone wanted it, its probably to late. Its my first bike. I will miss it dearly. Get the 650 and have fun with it. Clutch slip just means clutch adjustment and oil leaks mean bad gaskets or just need torquing. and clean the carbs when you get the bike. I ran engine flush in my 1000 and it runs like a dream, I mean I put it in the carbs and gas tank and forgot I put it in there. I will have to check my oil tomorow.
