Hi, My name is Fernando, I'm Fan of Kawasaki and I'm ride a ZX6, but now As part of complete an old dream I bought a KZ750 LTD 1980 in 9 boxes  my plan is rebuild it identical to original, It's not easy here, may be I'll need to buy something in US, The bike is complete but some parts need to be repared, like paint etc, but I have patience for that. Warm regards to all.

A year is a reasonable estimate...a word of advice, certain parts for 750's are difficult/expensive to obtain. Particularly certain motor parts. For example, piston rings for your bike are not available from an aftermarket distributor. Depending upon whom you talk to, they may be available still from Kawasaki but will be expensive. I don't know the mail situation in Argentina, but most of us in North America rely strongly on eBay to obtain many used/aftermarket parts. If you don't already have an official Kawasaki shop manual...get one. They are wonderful. I think that the manual you need is completely available on-line as a free pdf document. Perhaps another KZR member will jump in here with the address.:)

Argentina! Cool! Este verano pienso de ir a Rio y desde alla me voy para Buenos Aires con una amiga. En q parte vives tu? Yo tambien soy miembro en LAMA y tenemos hermanos alli. Well your english is pretty good. I don't know how many people speak english in Argentina. I would imagine that most educated individuals probably speak more or less. Good luck on your 750. I really like the 1000/900s but diversity is what makes the world tick.

Mcdroid: If it's not easy for you in US, you can't imagine here, but we have an advantage, we have a lot of old bikes due to for many years we couldn't import nothing, so may be I can find some parts there. The most important thing is that the bike is actually complete, I don't need engine parts, only paint, clean, fix the seat and make the processing of chromed for some parts, but anyway I'll see in ebay sure someting I'll need

SaXJonz: I'm 700Km (450Miles) south of Buenos Aires, If you want, you are welcome in my house, send my a MP for my Cell phone. Here in Argentina lot of people speak english, obviously better than me, :woohoo:

Welcome, Fernando.

Your English is just fine. Much better than my command of your native tongue which is non-existent.

Good luck on rebuilding your 750. It's mostly a matter of patience and you'll find a lot of help here. Have fun!
