Just checking in with all you Z lovers out there. Have a few bikes now and am in the planning stages of putting ZX9 forks and wheels on new project...as soon as you guys tell me how to do it and what needs to be done. But...here's a picture of one of my bikes. Will try to get some pic.s of the others soon.

It's a 1200 cc-8.5 to 1 comp.. Crank is welded, HD cylinder studs and case studs. Running smaller set of turbo cams(going to put better set in before spring). Head has a little cleanup porting but not too much. Running a HSR42 carb. Backcut tranny, stainless valves, S.O.B. valve setup for safety. And then a 40 h.p. shot of nitrous(haven't tried that part yet). So far it has run a best of 9.85 e.t. on a bad ignition miss, so who knows where it can go? Plan on better rear tire and possibly a longer arm(out to about 10"-12" over maybe) and the purchase of some bigger kahonies!!!

ive got a 1428 turbo(from my "Im gonna give you guys 1428 reasons to screw with me,and im gonna put a turbo on it too #%$^&&^^! days)dont ever tell a cop that,i did and i just had to back it up !bwaha:whistle: anyway ive learned to be nicer to police officers and im working on collecting parts for a slightly more reliable 1200 turbo.im thinking about putting turbo in front of motor and running fuel injection instead of big mikuni, what do you think?;) goodluck, happy wrenching!
