New member, long time visitor
12 Jan 2008 17:16
Greetings to all. I decided to come out of the closet (so to speak), as I have been a long time visitor to KZrider. I've read with interest many of the articles.
It is evident that there is a great deal of comraderie among the participants in this hobby. Many members have very novel approachs to solving problems and many members have a great deal of technical knowledge. It's nice to join a great group with a common interest.
Cheers to all and I'll post some of my projects when I get the chance. In particular my current purchase. KZ1000 with a 1075 kit and cams so big that the valves kiss the pistons. More on that later.
Again, thank you for letting me join and gimme a shout if ya feel like it. Even if it is to give me a hard time about posting a pic of myself (on profile)sitting on my CBR929RR.
Regards,
Mark

Yuck, he rides one of them thar "H" word bikes....git a rope boys!
You did ask for it, right?
Welcome to KZr Mark!
I'm sure you'll enjoy it here just as much as the rest of us do.
And btw, a hobby is owning just one KZ.
It becomes a sickness when your garage/storage/carport/patio/etc becomes over-crowded with them (Gringo? Kawtoy? Etc.).
Be careful, this "sickness" is very contagious and there's no known (or wanted for that matter) cure for it at this time.

Welcome to KZR not CBR. Lets get a pic of the Kawi. You may be able to cut the valve pockets deeper in the pistons, hate to have to go with smaller cams.
