new member with winter project

Hi, new member here. Long time Kawi fan/owner. My winter project this year will be a 1980 kz1300 that I will painting to resemble an ELR. Came to this site to get some help with paint codes for the transformation and maybe share some picts. I currently own--1986 concours, 1982 LTD1100 with sidecar, 1980 KZ1300, 1980 GS850G with a period style hot rod paint, 1990Yamaha XT600. I also have 2 Z1R's that I can get my hands on if I can find some storage!!!!!!!
Might need some help posting pictures.
I still rue the day I sold my 84 GPZ1100

Welcome! You've found the right place. Lots of good people, knowledge and experience here. I know I've been learning a lot over the past few months.

Yep, welcome aboard, stain. Love the ELR paint scheme! But why stop at the 1300? Paint the Concours!

If not already considered, may want to list the bikes in your signature line (as seen under other members' postings).

Here's how for anyone interested.

Over in the right hand column, click on Profile.

Point to Edit, then click on Update Your Profile.

Click on Forum settings.

Then type in whatever text you desire in the large Signature box.

The signature may be changed anytime and relates back to appear in all prior postings.

May also copy and paste text into the signature box, such as the following:
