Well, this is my first post here and I'm here because I just purchased a '81 KZ440 LTD. This will be my first bike and I'm very excited. The bike is not in my possession since I wont be able to pick it up for a couple of weeks but I do have some photos:

Welcome to the site Easy. I've had a blast cruising and commuting on my kz400 this summer which is pretty much a twin to your bike.

Glad you posted pics....could you put your location down in your signature? That with your bike type helps people know where you're coming from. B)

Welcome aboard. You will love the 440, ours has been in the family since the late '80s and will stay here forever. Not a real powerhouse, but still enough grunt to put a smile on the face and a great sound for a twin. I like ours so much I'm actually trying to see if I can find another one cheap to add to the stable.

Nice find !!! Great starter bike that you can still have lots of fun with after you've become "experienced". I love the look of all the Kawi LTD's !

Awesome bike. The nice thing about lower horsepower bikes is: you won't endanger your life early on, and once you get good, you won't endanger your license. Going 60 on my KZ feels about the same as going 100 on my modern bike.
