I miss my bike.

This looks like a great place to network and learn. I have browsed the site a bit and looked at a few of the great pics of your bikes and am looking forward to looking at many more. I wanted to get registered and get myself introduced.
I am (unfortunately) an ex-KZ1100 (1981) owner. I had the bike for almost 15 years. I gave it to a friend when I had to move cross country and had no way to ship it. I am pretty partial to that model, or the 1982 and hope to find one to replace it someday.
In the meantime I'll just have to vicariously enjoy (and envy) your bikes here and learn all I can, so when I do find one (I know it's out there somewhere!) I'll be ready to saddle up.
I may have one or two old pics of my bike. I'll post them if I can find them.
regards!

Welcome!
KZs are where you find them, and there are still some awesome deals, if you keep your eyes peeled. But don't wait too long... the price seems to be going up as time goes by.

Welcome to the site. Sorry to hear that you lost your bike.
You don't see many 1100s for sale, but there are a few of them out there. I found mine on ebay in Tennessee a few months ago. Item #150181988248 on there now is a nice-looking bike (except for dent in tank). Price looks reasonable at $2k. Located in Texas. Maybe you can find the ad on CraigsList (I couldn't) and make a lower offer.
Best of luck with the search, and keep us posted on when you buy another.

I'm not sure how this works...if I'm supposed to reply to each one or just say a general THANKS! (hopefully I chose right.)
Thanks for the welcome.

Search in eBay rather than Craigslist with the above number...you have two days left on the auction...and yeah, welcome:)
