New guy saying hello
27 Oct 2007 19:35
Hi all,
Wow, just stumbled on to this site while looking for parts. I thought I was one of the last people trying to keep an old KZ on the road.
I have a '76 KZ 750 that I've owned for over 15 years now. No matter what bikes I get, I can't seem to part with the old girl. I was really suprised to find a BBS for these bikes !! It's nice to know there are similarly touched folk.
Paul

The "seniors" on the site will no doubt welcome you, in due time. Meanwhile: Welcome! As someone who, like you, didn't know there were thousands of other "old" KZ officianados out there, I, too, am pleasantly surprised.

Hi and welcome to the site. As you will notice, many here include their year, model and location in their signature... its considered friendly and attracts the best and fastest responses.
If you need quality parts check out the list of suppliers in the Essentials list in the upper right hand of this page.
Best of success.

Thanks, all.
I'll figure out the sig line. This board is a little different than the other two I belong to.
My 750 is a twin. I've recieved my fair share of ribbing over the years for it but, it's just a down right fun bike to ride. Unfortunately, this winter I need to do some major projects on the old girl and parts are getting harder to find. Finding a set of carbs has turned into a nightmare. I think I found this site on Z1 Enterprises or a link on Ebay. Glad I did !!
